The San Francisco Ultimate League (SFUL) is dedicated to furthering the sport of Ultimate Frisbee in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our first priority is teaching Spirit of the Game. Competition is highly encouraged, but never at the expense of having fun or enjoying the sport.

Summer League 2008
Dates are set!

We will be hosting two leagues this season. The Tuesday night league will run July 1 - August 26 and the Thursday night league will run July 3 - August 28. Both leagues will start out at the Beach Chalet in Golden Gate Park and move to the West Sunset fields in the Outer Sunset for the end of the season.

Registration is first come, first served. With our online registration system, you'll know right away if you successfully registered. All SFUL events are beginner friendly. Competition is highly encouraged, but never at the expense of having fun or enjoying the sport.

Registration dates will be announced soon. In the meantime now is a good time to:

update or create your profile (Have your skills improved? How many games will you miss?)
review your Account Statement to see if you owe for any past SFUL events
set up a PayPal account

All these things will help your registration go much more quickly and smoothly if you take care of them in advance.

Free Women's Clinic in June

The San Francisco Ultimate League (SFUL) is hosting a Women's Ultimate Clinic on Saturday June 21 starting at 11:00a at the Ft. Scott fields in the Presidio. We will be introducing the game of Ultimate to beginners as well as providing more advanced instruction to women familiar with the game. If you have never played Ultimate and want to try it out, or have played some pickup and would like to improve your skills, this is the Clinic for you. After the clinic there will be a beginner friendly scrimmage. The clinic is free, but we'd like to know how many people to expect, so please scroll down to register.

Spring League 2008
Tuesday & Thursday nights in Golden Gate Park!

Online registration for Spring League 2008 started in early March. Registration for the Tuesday night league started Tuesday 3/11 at noon and registration for the Thursday night league started Thursday 3/13 at noon.

Both leagues still have room for a few more women, but are full for men. Please add your name to the wait list if you would like a shot at being added later in the season.

11th Edition Rules

The membership of the UPA approved the 11th Edition of the Rules of Ultimate in late 2006 and all SFUL events are now be played by this new set of rules. If you haven't already please take a moment and review this summary of the major substantive changes.
